Three reasons to give to FTWW on Giving Day 2022

Giving Day is coming up on November 29, 2022. It’s a great opportunity to make a charitable donation to organizations that are making a difference, including For Those Who Would. The work we do makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who need support. Week in and week out, we leverage the platforms of adventure athletes to raise funds that support our work. We also rely on the donations of individuals like you who make a donation to support our cause.

We know you have choices on Giving Day, so here are three reasons to support For Those Who Would:

  1. Nearly 100% of donated funds go directly to support individual causes. The For Those Who Would board of directors is a volunteer working board, our athletes are not paid, and we operate primarily in a virtual space, so our overhead and administrative costs are kept to a bare minimum in order to maximize the impact of your donation.
  2. We help individuals who need support. Some charities support a cause or research need, but For Those Who Would provides real, tangible support to people who need assistance. A few of our recent projects include purchasing a service animal for a person with mental health needs, making home alterations to improve accessibility for a cancer patient, and purchasing a medical support dog for a young girl battling brain cancer.
  3. Your gift is tax deductible. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, For Those Who Would can also help you benefit from your donation by reducing tax liabilities. Please consult with a tax professional to understand how your tax-deductible donation will impact your tax liability.

We appreciate your support and look forward to hearing from you on Giving Day – November 29, 2022!
