Caylan Hord
Being a part of the OCR and trail running communities over the past 3 years, I have been astonished by the camaraderie of them. I am grateful for the many opportunities I have had in my life, and I want to help give back to the community that has done so much for me. I train and work hard, day in and day out and to apply a cause to that, like For Those Who Would, will help keep me humble and drive me to dig deeper on those days I want to take it easy, stop or even quit.
I look forward to being a supporting athlete, because as I have learned from my family, that it pays to give back. I also want to show my kids and fellow athletes that it isn’t about being the best athlete in the world, but about being your personal best; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Be grateful for your abilities, be relentless in the pursuit of strength and be humble in the days of glory.
