Last Person Left 4-Miler and Trail Ultra

For Those Who Would hosted the inaugural Last Person Left 4-miler and trail ultra race on Saturday, April 23, 2022. With the planning and support of University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy students, approximately 25 runners came out to compete at the EKU cross country course in Richmond, Kentucky. Many thanks to major sponsors Truist Bank, Soft Shoe, and Race Rise for their support to help make this event a success.

4-Miler

Fifteen runners started off the day with the 4-miler starting at 8 AM. Aaron Hunter took first place, finishing in 44 minutes and 13 seconds, followed by second place finishers in a tie at 49:40 – Madeline Wermeling and Karah Braboy. Full 4-miler results are available here.

Ultra Race

After the conclusion of the 4-miler, 10 runners started at 9 AM with loops of the 4-mile course on a shrinking clock. At the end of the day, Joseph VanFleet took home first place by completing 10 loops. Second place was awarded to Jack Harding, who completed 9 loops under the time limit, and third place was awarded to Katie Fitz, who finished 7 loops. Full results for the ultra race are available here.
