My name is Todd Lucas. I am currently a third year student at the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. During my first year in pharmacy school, I was introduced to For Those Who Would through a community service learning class and immediately became interested in their mission and decided to get more involved.
A bit of a background for me is that I have been playing sports since I could walk. I basically grew up in a gym…like I was in a walker while my older siblings had basketball practice. I was able to play sports in high school and was also able to pursue a collegiate scholarship for soccer. Unfortunately during my freshman year I suffered a traumatic brain injury and was forced to quit playing. Though I had to quit playing soccer I still wanted to be challenged and stay in shape, so I started running. Since I started volunteering for FTWW, I want to make a difference for people who may not have had the opportunity to participate in different activities or used to be able to participate but cannot anymore. Thank you for your support!
